original c. 1927 oversized interior theater lobby double-sided air ventilation grille salvaged from the lawndale theater (extant) located on the west side of chicago. the massive solid plaster grate contains a multitude of equally-sized square panels containing intricate filigree. the old green paint finish appears to be original. the west side chicago lawndale theater was designed by the architectural firm of r. levine & company. the decorative panel was likely fabricated by the decorators supply company, chicago, il. measures 56 x 34 inches.
