structurally sound early 20th century school classroom seat bench featuring a solid varnished birch wood seat and evenly spaced slat back rest. the structural frame is comprised of heavy gauge folded and pressed riveted joint steel with old black paint finish largely intact. salvaged from an old city of chicago public school. fabricated by the wabash church & school furniture works, chicago.
