large lot of original 19th century antique american victorian era ornamental cast bronze interior residential doorknob backplates. fabricated between 1880-90 by the nashua lock co., nashua, new hampshire. each backplate contains a series of repeating abstract floral motifs against a textured field pattern. nicely aged surface patina left intact. measure approximately 5 1/2 x 1 3/4 inches. priced for the lot.
