19th century all original salvaged chicago ornamental cast iron "oriential" pattern residential passage door backplates designed and fabricated by the p. & f. corbin company, new britian, ct. the twelve matching doorplates are in good overall condition with several retaining the original copper-plated finish. the 1880s doorknob backplates were salvaged from a chicago residence undergoing demolition. priced for the lot.
