all original and completely intact 19th century antique american ornamental cast brass eastlake style doorknob backplates or escutcheons designed and fabricated by the nashua lock company, nashua, nh. the matching doorknob backplates were salvaged from a chicago residence built in the 1880's. the finish and/or patina varies from one backplate to the other. the brass escutcheons were originally outfitted with black porcelain doorknobs with brass shanks. priced for the lot.
