original c. 1920's interior american moviehouse or theater border or footlight trough featuring four distinct compartments with aluminum reflectors. the pressed and folded steel frame lighting unit retains the original clips for colored gelatine mediums and or scenery guards. the original cast iron flush mount brackets are original intact. the compartmentalized theater fixture contains a multitude of ceramic incandescent light bulb sockets. heavily insulated rayon cloth or cotton cord with plug intact. the metal housing has been brushed down to bare metal and treated with a clear coat lacquer. fabricated by the i.p. frink inc., new york city, ny. measures 44 x 9 x 6 inches.
