original c. 1950's american vintage industrial mobile h-frame commercial studio wood easel designed and fabricated by anco wood specialties inc., glendale, new york. the oversized fully adjustable "anco-bilt" easel was salvaged from an old milwaukee sign making shop. the easel contains vertical posts, horizontal cross bar supports, masts and a centrally located segmented or notched track allowing for the easel's verticality to be adjusted. the overall design of the easel is generally based on right angles with all posts being parallel to each other with the base of the easel being rectangular. the original swivel caster wheels are intact. surface wear evident, with splotches of old paint from years of use.
