one of several matching completely intact late 1930's american art deco depression era wedge-shaped illuminated exit light fabricated by or for the perfeclite co., cleveland, oh. the richly colored ruby red glass double-sided ceiling mount light fixture shade was fabricated by kopp glass inc., pittsburgh, pa. the stepped brushed aluminum shade fitter contains a uniform finish. the baked white enameled double-sided lettering remains in great shape, considering age. measures 8 1/2 x 8 x 7 1/2 inches. the shade is free from cracks or breaks. slightly discoloration evident. several matching fixtures were salvaged from a chicago public school. the exit lights date to 1939-1941. the sockets and wiring are amazingly intact. priced individually. base measures 8 5/8 x 8 inches.
