two matching green enameled porcelain vintage industrial factory light fixtures salvaged from the cook county hospital power plant (chicago, il). the industrial fixtures were manufactured by the appleton electric co. of chicago. date to the 1930's. socket housing contains a thumb latch or release mechanism providing quick release of the reflector with socket for changing bulbs and/or cleaning the reflector itself. the cold rolled steel shads or reflectors remain in excellent condition, considering age. original ball and socket joint canopies or ceiling rosettes. measures 15 x 16 inches. priced for the pair.
