pair of unusual early 20th century american industrial solid cast iron factory machine bases with a mostly uniform brushed metal finish. the exact fabricator or foundry is not known. the curvaceous bases contain protruding collars for mounting a single solid steel stretcher bar or post. the foot pads contains opposed holes for mounting firmly against the floor. each cast iron base or leg measures 23 x 5 3/4 x 21 3/4 inches. priced for the pair.
