two matching original interior lobby cook county hospital administration building (later school of nursing ) single arm wall sconces possibly fabricated by the beardslee mfg. co., chicago, ills. the historically important wall sconces were salvaged from the hospital building's lobby during renovations. the administration was built in 1931. the school of nursing occupied the building from 1931 to 1980. the architect on record was eric e. hall. several light fixtures, including visually striking art deco lavatory wall sconces with drop shades will be listed shortly. the backplate or reflector has rounded edges with sunken center. priced for the pair.
