two matching refinished vintage american industrial soapstone sink bases fabricated by the republic mfg. co., chicago, il. the late 19th century iron bases are comprised of two opposed sections fastened tightly together with nuts and bolts. the flared feet are designed with open-ended slots used with bolts to anchor the bases into the floor. the cast iron bases remain in excellent condition, considering age. lightly embossed manufacturer markings found along the central arches. priced for the set.
