pair of visually distinctive custom built american industrial three-legged side tables containing cast iron cabriole style bases designed and fabricated by the chicago flexible shaft co., chicago, il. the newly added diminutive cabinets are comprised of solid oak wood with a uniform varnished finish. the folded and pressed sheet steel sliding drawers with brushed nickel plated knob pulls were salvaged from an old general electric factory storage cabinet. the cabinets are tightly fastened to circular-shaped flanges attached to interchangeable threaded end tubular steel pipes. the steel and/or iron components have been brushed down to bare metal and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. the highly versatile tables can be used in a number of design settings. measure 14 x 14 1/2 x 25 inches. priced for the pair.
