nearly fifty matching "new old stock" green enameled hubbell reflectors or shades now available

over fifty american depression-era "new old stock" pressed and folded baked green enameled steel reflectors or shades were recently discovered in the storage room of an old chicago area twine factory.

the diminutive pendant or task lamp shades were designed and fabricated by or for harvey hubbell inc., bridgeport, conn.

urban remains has been salvaging this "frozen in time" factory for a number of weeks now. furniture, stools and other fixtures are gradually making their way onto the website.

the durable enameled (not vitreous or porcelain-coated) steel shades are in remarkable condition. the bright reflective white undersides are free from rust or discoloration.

the threaded openings are designed for use with brass shell sockets, with or without paddle switches (the latter type is more often found with task lamps).

nearly all of the shades, divided into various lots, are available for sale on the website.
