"uhl art steel" chair and stools, factory machine bases and porcelain enameled light fixtures

shortly after the pre-fire german school building salvage concluded last weekend, we shifted gears and revisited "industrial," by exploring factories, machine shops and warehouses in the chicago area this week to replenish and/or build upon our existing supply of furniture and lighting found in that type of setting.
a matching lot of "uhl art steel" side chairs were found in an old transportation warehouse, while heavy duty cast iron bases and porcelain enameled lighting were removed from factory machine shops.
the majority of the light fixtures were fabricated for westinghouse, but there is a nice goodrich red enameled service station light and multiple green porcelain fixtures manufactured by appleton.
work tables, cabinets and signage were found this week as well - all from industrial buildings that have recently shuttered or are undergoing demolition.
