the bldg. 51 museum architectural building artifact book is featured in architectural salvage news

i would like to thank rich ellis for featuring the bldg. 51 museum historic artifact book in his latest Architectural Salvage & Antique Lumber News email and the homepage of his newly revamped website, which pertaining to the architectural antique and/or salvage industry. according to rich's publication, his presence online and in print, is "back and better than before." having conversed with rich time and again over the years, i'm very pleased that he has revamped his online website to provide all of us in the industry with news and upcoming events as they unfold during this year and beyond.

after reconnecting a few weeks ago, i began a dialogue with rich over the possibility of organizing a convention that would encourage architectural antique establishments across the states, canada and europe to come together under one roof. a single or multi-day symposium could include guest speakers from various fields pertaining to preservation matters, workshops, networking, buying and selling, etc. i feel that exploring ways to strengthen connections with each other and our clients (e.g., homeowners, the design industry, etc.) in a more unified fashion or collective, we could widen the scope and availability of one of a kind salvaged artifacts offered from demolished buildings in cities and town across the county. more to follow.
