a rare glimpse inside howells and hood's tribune office tower during its conversion into residential living

i took a few hundred images of howells and hood's tribune tower building (1925) when i was given access to the interior (including ground floor lobby, office tower, and printing plant) to inspect the original dull green enameled commercial grade steel muntin plate glass windows (there are several configurations/sizes) that were being systemically replaced with code-compliant windows at the time of my visit.
while documenting the building, i noticed that mccormick's oak wood paneled office was taken apart or deconstructed, but i suspect the limestone mantel, fixtures, etc., will be reincorporated elsewhere in the building as it nears completion.
i really hope someone is there documenting the transformation of the interior, including capturing the layers of history uncovered during interior demolition since the project was launched. if so, i hope images will be shared in the public realm for all of us to see and appreciate.
