latest digitized richard nickel contact sheet images documenting schiller theater building demolition

after taking a break from digitizing and editing images pulled from richard nickel's contact sheets on demolition of adler and sullivan's 1893 schiller building or garrick theater, i'm back at it with the sole purpose to have a complete digital record of any and all photographs nickel shot of the demolition (i.e., before, during, and after) using his trusty indestructible rolleiflex camera.
john vinci, who at the time, was one of the three salvagers, also documented the building's demolition using his rolleiflex, but shot in color. thankfully, vinci safeguarded his collection of kodachromes he amassed over the past five decades, so the richly colored garrick images are being digitized as well.
i chose to arrange the latest contact sheet images by subject, which of course is an oversimplification, but i simply don't have the time to write-up captions for any and all images. when time permits, i will select images that bolster the narrative i will present - likely in the form of a book - with sufficient captions to better understand and appreciate the visual information packed into each picture.
