photographic images documenting 19th and early 20th century south side chicago architecture

the following images were chosen from my ever-growing photographic survey of extant late 19th and early 20th century chicago residential and commercial structures located across chicago. most, if not all the work, was done on the south side of chicago, with an emphasis on ornament detail.
taken as a whole, the seemingly random selection of image reflect a multitude of concurrent research projects i'm working on for use in exhibits, material and method research and bolstering narratives of objects that otherwise are devoid of context.
