primitive american industrial weathered and worn steeping stool or diminutive bench comprised of pine wood with a crazed red paint exterior finish. the lightweight c. 1920's portable bench was discovered in the utility closet of an old twine factory. the low-lying stool has a green interior finish. the angled or slanted cross-bracing provides added support and stability. measures 18 x 9 x 13 inches.
