rare oversized cast plaster interior adler and sullivan auditorium hotel panel recreated under the direction of notable restoration architect crombie taylor during the 1960's as the theater was undergoing extensive restoration. the massive plaster panel with a uniform white glazed finish was also recreated for use in frank lloyd wright's home and studio shortly after the auditorium was completed in 1889. the originals were designed by sullivan and sculpted by james legge. the cast plaster panel was taken off a mold from an original removed for restoration. the oversized panels were used in the auditorium's second floor lobby.
