original and intact fully functional depression-era salvaged chicago interior residential single-light pendant fixture attributed to the beardslee lighting company, chicago, ills. the fixture retains the original silver-plated brass canopy, chain, and shade fitter. the baked enameled glass shade features a ruffled or "shower curtain" form. the socket has been rewired. the fixture dates to 1915-1925.
