early 20th century antique american medical work station comprised of steel with old crazed green paint finish. the stationary hospital work stand was fabricated by the art-aseptible furniture co., st. louis, mo. features tubular steel welded-joint construction, with two matching pull-out drawers with original steel knob pulls. the side table top is made of reinforced cold-rolled steel with original white porcelain enameled "sanitary" finish. the oversized mirror is supported in place by tubular framing. salvaged from st. mary's hospital, grand rapids, mi. measures 30 1/2 x 15 1/2 x 31 inches.
