c. 1930's original antique american industrial stationary research laboratory workbench possibly fabricated in part by the kewaunee mfg. co., adrian, mi. the long and narrow table consists of a heavy duty tubular steel table base with distinctive cast iron fittings. the nicely worn and weathered birch wood table top is tightly affixed to the steel pipe base. the legs contain tapered "feet" with adjustable metal straps providing added support and stability. the metal base has been brushed down to bare metal and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. measures 72 1/4 x 19 1/2 x 37 3/8 inches.
