original c. 1940's reinforced cast aluminum projectionists self-threading motion picture filmstrip reel with intact embossed letter central hubs. the vintage american film reel was manufactured by the goldberg brothers, denver, co. designed and patented by morris goldberg. the uniquely designed reel features massive side plates with distinctive perforations surrounding the centrally located hub. typical surface wear evident. structurally sound.
