antique american corrugated steel wire strainer basket originally used in conjunction with a "eureka" brand leather harness oiler. the basket's structural integrity remains intact. the heavy gauge steel wire is fastened tightly to three bent metal rods or hoops. the basket originally held harnesses submerged in oil for blacking, oiling and preserving the leather. naturally aged surface left intact. original bent wire drop handle intact. measures 24 inches in diameter, 23 inches H and the handle adds 14 inches.
