single fully functional c. 1930's depression era antique american industrial flush mount single light commercial building ceiling fixture possibly fabricated by the harry alter lighting co., chicago, il. the flush mount office fixture contains a spun yellow brass shade fitter combined with a "schoolhouse" style opalescent white glass globe or shade. the naturally aged surface patina is uniform and intact. the antique american ceiling fixture contains a single keyless leviton ceramic socket rewired with period appropriate cloth cord. great overall condition. measures 16 inches tall and 12 inches in diameter.
