all original antique american civil war era c. 1860's residential entrance door double keyhole escutcheon salvaged from a boston residence. composed mainly of brass with original german silver plated finish largely intact. features a finely turned cast brass swinging keyhole cover. contains four pre-drilled holes for mounting purposes. fabricated by the nashua lock co., nashua, nh. surface wear and patina consistent with age. measures approximately 3 1/2 x 2 inches.
