pair of original antique american highly detailed ornamental cast brass "marquise" pattern interior residential oval-shaped passage size doorknobs designed and fabricated by the norwalk lock company, norwalk, conn. the french renaissance style pointed end doorknobs contain a mostly uniform surface finish. the antique doorknobs were salvaged from a milwaukee "foursquare" style residence demolished earlier this year. a whole "suite" of marquise pattern hard was recovered from this home prior to demolition. see other listings. each one measures approximately 2 1/2 x 11 inches.
