early 20th century american craftsman interior residential white oak wood double recessed panel passage door likely fabricated by the foster-munger company, chicago, il. the well cared for antique door was salvaged from a chicago bungalow residence undergoing interior renovation. the honey oak varnished finish is original and intact. the door retains the original stanley ball finial loose pine steel hinges. the finish is uniform on both the front and back side of the door. built-up trimwork outlining the recessed panels remains intact. multiple doors containing a nearly identical finish are available from this chicago house salvage. measures 84 x 28 inches.
