attractive heavy duty weighted antique american industrial mobile steel and iron printing press die cart designed and fabricated by the hamilton mfg. co., two rivers, wi. the c. 1915 solidly-built mobile work table contains oversized black composite casters affixed to hooded forks (likely added at a later time). the remarkable framework consists of heavy gauge tubular steel pipe construction interconnected with visually distinctive bulbous pipe fittings. the stationary solid iron deck has been brushed down to bare metal and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. the metal base contains a nicely worn and weathered red paint finish. the mobile workstand was salvaged from a chicago print shop operating since 1900. measures approximately 28 x 24 x 37 1/2 inches.
