largely intact late 1930's original american art deco porcelain enameled exterior theater marquee sign letter believed to be fabricated by the adler sign letter co., chicago, il. the heavy cast iron neon sign letter was salvaged from a northwest indiana chicago theater demolished in the 1960's. the individual marquee letter contains circular holes and glass insulators (formerly housing neon tubing) within the deep raised edges. the dark burgundy porcelain finish is mostly intact, but the intensity of the color has faded over time. small lot of letters available. priced individually. measures 18 inches in height.
