all original and completely intact vintage medical c. 1930's hospital examination room supply cabinet. fabricated between 1935-40 by the hamilton cabinet co., two rivers, wi. salvaged long ago from the old cook county hospital located in chicago, il. the highly stylized american art deco cabinet is comprised of walnut wood with original varnished finish largely intact. the tabletop is comprised of a glossy black vitrolite glass panel (almost always missing and/or broken) in excellent condition. contains two graduating pull-out drawers and a set of curved edge cabinet doors concealing two spacious interior compartments. the drawers are lined with the original folded and pressed steel liner with original white enameled finish. machine age chromed handles are exceptional in every way. the "waterfall" style tabletop compartment with a push-button release mechanism contains a bottle rack for light sensitive reagents, compounds, etc. measures 29 1/2 x 17 x 39 inches.
