late 1930's vintage american depression era interior pendant light fixture salvaged from an old five-and-dome woolworths. the american electric lamp features a gold enameled fitter and canopy with rewired socket. the original opalescent white "schoolhouse" shade or globe remains in great condition. additional chain links can be added if increased height is desired. the fixture was likely fabricated by the harry alter lighting co., chicago, il. measures approximately 24 inches in height and 14 inches in diameter.
