early 1940's vintage american industrial reinforced white porcelain enameled commonwealth edison instructional single-sided instructional sign salvaged from an old chicago power substation. the sign contains black lettering against an all-white background. the "blowing of the horn" sign was fabricated by the veribrite sign co., chicago, il. surface wear typical of age. measures 12 x 8 inches.
