early 1940's american antique industrial wall-mount die cut steel "universal danger" sign designed and fabricated by the stonehouse steel sign co., denver, co. the single-sided sign retains the original black, red and white baked enameled color scheme. the old industrial chicago power substation "live wire" danger sign used around the wiring or transmission lines in and around the substation. the sign has worn with age, but the corner grommets are completely intact. measures 10 x 7 inches.
