highly desirable early 20th century antique american interior residential combination wall-mount push button electric switch and beveled edge backplate designed and fabricated by the perkins electric switch mfg. co., bridgeport, ct. the flush mount push button plate contains a largely intact and sought after oxidized copper-plated finish over stamped brass. the single station switch contains a single button with the synthetic mother-of-pearl inlay. the ceramic housing, terminal screws, etc., remain in good working condition (prior to removal). a total of three matching units available. salvaged from a turn of the century chicago firehouse. priced individually. measures approximately 2 3/4 x 1 1/2 x 4 1/2 inches.
