c. 1900's original vintage industrial black enameled cast iron "cross draft" interior barn hay carrier. fabricated by the f. e. myers & bro. co., ashland, oh. deeply embossed manufacturer markings found along the carrier frame. heavy duty rope traveled in and around the flanged pulley wheels. the carrier would travel along a track located high above within the barn. a large sling or set of forks were attached to the block containing an eye bolt. the for spoked trolley wheels affixed to each of the titling arms are original and intact.
