hard to find early 20th century antique american "sullivanesque" style tin ceiling rectangular panel. the intricately detailed panel incorporates multiple geometric and organic design elements used in the original architecture of louis h. sullivan and george grant elmslie. perhaps the most well-documented imitation lies in the form of exterior terra cotta elements, manufactured in great quantity by the midland terra cotta co. the fabricators of "sullivanesque" tin ceilings remains unidentified. the panel measures 24 x 12 inches.
