brightly colored original early 20th century american late victorian era stained glass transom window salvaged from a chicago graystone residence built around 1900. features a highly stylized floral motif against an elongated oval comprised largely of glue-chip glass. the centrally located faceted red jewel is original and intact. the variegated slag glass remains free from cracks. the original lead caming is structurally sound and stable. the window sash frame is comprised of pine wood with painted finish. fabricated by the foster-munger co., chicago, il. measures 45 x 24 inches.
