original early 20th century antique american ornamental cast brass oval-shaped "dreux" pattern interior residential antique doorknob. the neoclassical style doorknob was fabricated by the yale & towne mfg. co., stamford, ct. the highly detailed knob contains traces of an older (possibly original) gilded finish. measures 2 3/4 x 1 1/2 inches. only one available.
