refinished late 1930's vintage american industrial fully adjustable multi-jointed machinist task lamp fabricated by the adjustable fixture co., milwaukee, wi. the versatile articulating arm table or bench lamp retains the original patented "adjusco-loc" socket protector attached to a yellow brass shell socket with shortened pull-chain. the jointed arm is comprised largely of tubular steel with a uniform brushed metal finish. the friction joints are all original and in working condition. the cast iron base plate or flange contains four pre-drilled holes for mounting against the wall, ceiling or benchtop. the parabola-shaped rolled rim wrought steel reflector retains the original green enameled finish. the fixture has been rewired with period appropriate braided black cloth lamp cord. when fully extended, the lamp measure approximately 40 inches in length.
