single 19th century american eastlake style interior residential ornamental cast bronze "bamboo" pattern passage size doorknob designed and fabricated by branford lock works, branford, ct. the authentic, american made antique doorknob retains the original baked black enameled inlay used to accentuate the casting detail. the round, banded rim doorknob was salvaged from a chicago residence constructed around 1887. the house is currently undergoing demolition. multiple "bamboo" pattern doorknob available. the condition of the enameled inlay varies from one knob to the next. some doorknobs retain the original nicely aged finish, while others were lightly cleaned or refinished to remove layers of paint. priced individually. each doorknob measures 2 inches in diameter.
