gustaf wickman (november 8, 1858 in gothenburg – august 22, 1916 in stockholm ) was a swedish architect.
after studying at the art academy and study trips through france, germany and italy in 1885 and england and the usa in 1893, gustaf wickman worked in stockholm as an architect.

he specialized in bank buildings, which he executed in an eclectic style that combined baroque, art nouveau and modern american architecture.

besides several banks in stockholm like skånes enskilda bank, sundsvall enskilda bank, skövdes enskilda bank he was responsible for building banks in jönköping , kalmar , norrköping , örebro, skövde , sundsvall, uddevalla and other cities.

as part of the founding of the city of kiruna in 1900, gustaf wickman was commissioned to lay out the city. together with the urban planning architect per hallman, the layout of the new city was determined and gustaf wickman began to design and build mansions, working-class quarters and public buildings such as the church, the police station and the fire station, schools. at the stockholm industry and art exhibition 1897, stockholmsutställningen 1897, wickman was the main architect.
