all original and largely intact late 19th century ette & henger manufacturing company hardware catalogue "no. 3." the 19th century oversized catalog contains both plumbers' water works and electrical goods or products. the pages of this antique american catalogue contain highly detailed illustrations with descriptions and pricing. the c. 1892 maroon buckram cloth hardcover features ornate pressed silver lettering. staining and discoloration, along with a few paint marks on the top left corner of the cover evident. the spine remains completely intact with a little tearing to the head and feet and slight bumping on the corners. the binding remains intact with only minor separation on the front cover page. the ette & henger company (renamed american foundry) was best known for their patent of the "empire" fire hydrant, which is still manufactured to this day.
