original 19th century single american antique victorian era ornamental cast iron door hinge possibly fabricated by russell & erwin or p. & f. corbin. the interior residential door hinge contains two leaves featuring a simple foliated scrollwork design. the hinge knuckles remain in good shape, considering age. the turned ans tapered cast iron steeple type finials are original and intact. the hinge contains traces of the original "japanned" or baked black enameled finish. measure 4 1/2 x 4 1/2 inches.
