original c. 1920's antique american flush mount interior chicago commerical building swinging door push plate designed and fabricated by the sargent hardware company, new haven, ct. the oversized push plate is comprised of cast iron with the original bower-barff "rustproof" finish largely intact. very simple design with clean lines. surface wear consistent with age. measures 16 x 4 inches.
