two matching all original and completely intact c. 1930-33 american art deco interior residential wall sconces salvaged from a chicago three-flat built around 1930. the sconces were fabricated by the r. williamson co., chicago, il. the original polychrome enameled finish remains largely intact. the uniquely shaped pressed glass shades with baked orange enameled accent were designed and patented by the beardslee chandelier mfg. co., chicago, il. the original leviton sockets with rayon cloth cord remain in excellent working condition. the on/off dial switches are original to the sconces. the fixtures are comprised of heavy cast iron with multiple manufacturer markings lightly embossed above the sockets. priced for the pair.
