two matching original early 20th century american vintage industrial solid cast iron lathe machine table legs fabricated by the the q. & c. co., western union building, chicago, il. the foot pads contain pierced holes for anchoring into the floor. the legs remain in excellent condition (i.e., free from fractures, weld repairs, etc). the machine legs were salvaged from an old milwaukee foundry (recently shuttered). thoroughly refinished (i.e., grime, rust and paint removal) and treated with a clear coat protective sealant. highly desirable and hard to find. endless design potential. measure 24 x 29 1/2 inches. priced for the pair.
