visually pleasing american victorian era 19th century ornamental cast brass dome-shaped doorknob fabricated around 1879-1885 by the hopkins & dickinson mfg. co., new york city, ny. the banded rim interior residential passage size doorknob features an unusual spoked wheel surrounding by compact floral rosettes. the design carries over on the backside of the doorknob. very clean and uniform surface patina. measures 2 1/4 inches in diameter.
